Role Title: Platform EngineeringDevOpsLocation -Connecticut - (Hybrid /Remote)We are hiring a Platform EngineeringDevOps Contractor to support Azure Commercial Cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, database platform support, security configuration, and production environment maintenance.This role will work closely with cloud, application, data, security, and business teams to build, deploy, monitor, and maintain reliable cloud-based platforms using Azure services, SQL Server, Snowflake, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure, supporting Azure SQL Database and Snowflake environments, creating and maintaining deployment pipelines, implementing infrastructuresecurity controls, and troubleshooting platform, database, access, and performance-related issues.This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise cloud standards, secure access management, monitoring, backup/recovery, and operational support processes.Must-Have SkillsAzure Commercial Cloud infrastructure experienceAzure VM creation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshootingAzure SQL Database creation, configuration, maintenance, and performance monitoringSQL Server database administration and supportSnowflake database support, including schemas, roles, warehouses, and access managementAzure Linked Services setup and troubleshootingInfrastructure security, including networking, firewall rules, private endpoints, service principals, managed identities, and Key VaultData security and role-based access controlUser access and permission managementDatabase backup, recovery, restore, and disaster recovery supportPerformance monitoring of Azure infrastructure, databases, and cloud servicesDevOps process knowledge and hands-on deployment supportCI/CD pipeline setup, maintenance, and troubleshootingGitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps source control experienceStrong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, databases, access, and deployment issuesPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsAzure AI FoundryAzure Machine LearningAzure data governance, data cataloging, and lineageTerraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, or Python automationDatabricks or Azure Data Factory experienceWeb application, API, and backend service supportMonitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application InsightsFor the above role, Azure VM, Azure SQL Database, Snowflake, security, DevOps, CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab, backup/recovery, monitoring, and user access management should be treated as the core must-have skills.
