Our Ideal Candidate
This is a remote and in-territory position with occasional visits to corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado, USA. The ideal candidate for the Midwest Regional Sales Manager role is a dynamic individual with a proven track record in sales in the wastewater process industry. We are seeking someone who thrives in a remote setting yet can effectively collaborate with our team and clients. If you are energized by the challenge of significantly increasing sales pipeline, maintaining targeted gross profit averages, and expanding our network of outside representatives to achieve 100% domestic CN coverage, we encourage you to apply.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all sales related activities in designated territories, promoting Triplepoint’s innovative solutions. More specifically, you will be responsible for:
Significantly increasing the sales pipeline, and meeting aggressive sales goals.
Maintaining a targeted gross profit average across all projects.
Managing an outside manufacturer’s representative network, growing to 100% domestic CN coverage.
Negotiating the proposal and competitive bid process in conjunction with outside sales representatives.
Seeing projects through, from initial quoting to installation & ongoing operation.
Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with end users, engineers, regulators, and outside representatives—those that extend beyond the project.
Navigating a complex sales environment, one with many involved parties and a 12-month sales cycle.
Establishing Triplepoint as a thought leader through conference exhibitions presentations.
Ideal Candidates
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Have 5+ years wastewater process sales experience.
A detailed understanding of wastewater biological processes.
Experience pricing and selling large, complex projects over $300,000.
A comprehensive understanding of and experience with bid processes.
