Information Technology Support Specialist
Our client in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join their in‑office IT Support team. This role is critical to delivering a reliable, high-quality technology experience for employees by supporting endpoint devices, collaboration platforms, and office IT infrastructure.This is an onsite role.Role Overview:The IT Support Specialist is accountable for reducing employee downtime, improving onboarding/offboarding and collaboration experiences, and maintaining consistent, secure, and efficient IT services. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of issues end-to-end, and is eager to use automation and modern IT practices to improve support operations.Responsibilities:Manage endpoint and collaboration platform deployment and health for the regionMaintain device compliance, patching, and configuration standardsEnsure reliability of Microsoft Teams and meeting room technologiesOwn incident resolution by prioritizing work based on business impact and implementing permanent fixesReduce repeat incidents through documentation, automation, and process improvementsLead regional onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning and deprovisioning accounts and equipmentOwn office technology standards (printers, A/V, meeting rooms), including lifecycle management and inventory accuracyUtilize modern endpoint management tools such as Intune to monitor and maintain device performance and complianceSupport Identity and Access Management (IAM) processesProvide high-quality customer service to employees both in person and remotelyIncrease self-service deflection through automation and knowledge base improvementsCoordinate with Security and Network teams to respond to alerts and take corrective actionHelp manage support coverage, identify workload risks, and recommend adjustmentsDevelop and maintain scripts for automation, reporting, and configuration tasksDemonstrate use of AI and automation to improve IT support processesManage relationships with software and hardware vendorsContribute to IT projects, initiatives, and technology adoption aligned with overall IT strategyMinimum Qualifications:3+ years of experience in IT Support or Systems AdministrationAssociate degree or equivalent professional experienceModern Desktop Administrator Associate certification or equivalentStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCustomer-centric mindset with empathy and professionalismDetail-oriented with strong documentation habitsDemonstrated ownership, collaboration, and commitment to continuous improvementStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adapt quickly while maintaining consistent performancePreferred Qualifications:Advanced experience with Modern Endpoint Management, including Windows 11, Autopilot, and Endpoint AnalyticsExperience supporting Microsoft M365, Microsoft Teams, PDF tools, and other SaaS platformsExperience using Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) toolsProficiency with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Admin Centers, Intune, and cloud-based servicesSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)Knowledge of security best practices (Conditional Access, Defender, BitLocker, MFA)Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM frameworks; Freshservice experience is a plusExperience with PowerShell and basic scripting (Bash, Python a plus)Exposure to SASE, Zero Trust (ZTNA), or NIST-aligned environments is a plusEEO Policy: Allied Resources complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
