QA Engineer
QA Engineer (Bilingual Korean Required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with an industrial installation and machine relocation\nservices company, and they are looking for a QA Engineer\n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nChemical & Material Quality Control\n * Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials (resins, coatings,\n adhesives, solvents, etc.).\n * Evaluate chemical and surface treatment quality (paint adhesion, gloss,\n color, thickness, VOC levels).\n * Verify compliance with Hyundai/Kia specifications and international\n standards.\n\nProcess Monitoring & Improvement\n * Monitor chemical processes in production (painting, coating, bonding).\n * Identify and resolve chemical-related quality issues (contamination, peeling,\n discoloration, etc.).\n * Collaborate with production teams to optimize parameters and reduce defects.\n\nDocumentation & Compliance\n * Maintain quality documentation for chemical processes, MSDS, and regulatory\n compliance (REACH, RoHS).\n * Support PPAP, APQP, and customer audits with chemical/material quality data.\n * Develop and update work instructions, inspection standards, and chemical\n handling guidelines.\n\nTesting & Analysis\n * Operate laboratory equipment for chemical and physical testing (GC-MS, FTIR,\n XRF, spectrophotometer, adhesion tester, etc.).\n * Analyze test data, prepare reports, and recommend corrective/preventive\n actions.\n * Support R&D and production trials for new chemical formulations or material\n changes.\n\nCustomer & Supplier Quality\n * Communicate with suppliers regarding chemical quality issues, nonconformance,\n and corrective actions.\n * Provide chemical quality reports and root cause analysis to customers\n Participate in supplier and customer audits related to material quality.\n\n\nQualifications\n * Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering,\n Materials Science, or related field.\n * Experience: 2-5 years in QA/QC, preferably in automotive plastics, coatings,\n or chemical manufacturing.\n\nKnowledge/Skills:\n * Understanding of automotive chemical standards and testing methods.\n * Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.\n * Proficiency with chemical testing instruments and lab analysis.\n * Strong problem-solving and reporting skills.\n * Language: English required; Korean preferred (for HQ/customer communication).
