Electronics Assembler – Intermediate
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Assembler II to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex electronic components and systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in electronics assembly, schematic reading, and working with electro-mechanical components will contribute to delivering high-quality products that meet rigorous industry standards. *Duties*
* Assemble electronic devices and systems using detailed electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and surface mount technology (SMT) techniques to accurately build and modify electrical assemblies.
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and IPC 610 standards to ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications.
* Build electrical panels and wire electrical components following blueprint specifications while adhering to safety protocols.
* Perform soldering tasks on surface mount technology (SMT) components and electro-mechanical parts with precision.
* Conduct engineering troubleshooting on assembled units to identify issues related to PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly or wiring errors.
* Use testing instruments such as ohmmeters and multimeters to verify electrical connections, continuity, and component functionality.
* Follow strict quality control procedures, including IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly, ensuring all work meets industry quality benchmarks.
* Assist in the machining or mechanical assembly processes when required for complete product integration.
* Document assembly steps, test results, and inspection reports accurately for quality assurance purposes.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in electronics assembly within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving PCB manufacturing or electro-mechanical component integration.
* Strong knowledge of electrical schematic reading and interpretation, including wiring diagrams and blueprints.
* Hands-on experience with soldering techniques, surface mount technology (SMT), and electrical wiring practices.
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus for troubleshooting automated systems.
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment effectively.
* Understanding of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable.

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
