System Engineer

Company Description StratEdge Workflow Systems develops workflow-control tools that support financial, administrative, retirement, and service-based operations. Its core product, StratEdge Workflow Control, helps organizations manage recurring processes through structured workflow intake, document tracking, task ownership, status updates, attention management, and operational recordkeeping. The platform is designed to reduce scattered follow-ups, missing documents, unclear ownership, delayed reviews, and limited workflow visibility. StratEdge is in early commercial development, actively engaging in pilot conversations and implementation planning with client organizations. Production implementations are configured around organization-specific workflows, user roles, approval paths, integrations, reporting, automation, and security requirements.Role Description The System Engineer will work on-site in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area in a full-time capacity, supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of StratEdge Workflow Control deployments. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring systems to meet client workflow and security requirements, performing system administration tasks, and ensuring stable, reliable environments. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support to internal teams and clients, monitoring performance, and coordinating with product and development teams to improve system design. The System Engineer will also contribute to documentation, assist with integrations and automation, and participate in testing and rollout of new features and configurations.Qualifications Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills to architect, implement, and optimize workflow-control solutions.Hands-on experience in System Administration for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining production environments.Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and assist users and stakeholders.Familiarity with security best practices, integrations, and automation in multi-user, role-based workflow systems.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience with server operating systems, databases, and networking fundamentals relevant to enterprise applications.Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.Background in financial, administrative, or service-based operations, or prior work with workflow or BPM platforms, is beneficial.
