Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Mound City, MO Agency: Jackson Therapy Partners Pay: $1,236 to $1,436 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Mound City, MO. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness in a skilled nursing facility, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Compact license accepted where applicable. Minimum 1 year of PTA experience. LTC or skilled nursing/rehab experience required. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Ability to document in electronic medical records and accurately record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with supervising Physical Therapist, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team. Willingness to participate in required meetings, trainings, and in-services. Preferred: experience supervising or supporting students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift Name: Days. Shift Pattern: Monday through Friday, 5x8. Shift Notes: Start times are flexible if consistent and communicated with DOR; requested start time is no earlier than before 6:00 AM and no later than 10:00 AM. Weekend Requirement: No routine weekends unless a holiday falls within M-F, in which case hours may be made up on the weekend. Assignment Duration: 13 week travel contract. Work Expectations: Provide skilled, rehabilitative, and medically necessary treatment per PT plan of care under PT supervision; document per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
