We take pride in building high-quality, precision-engineered equipment—and we’re looking for individuals who take that same level of pride in their work.Position Overview We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to support our procurement and supply chain operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to coordinate purchasing activities and keep materials flowing to support production. You will play a key role in vendor communication, order tracking, and ensuring materials are delivered on time.What You’ll Do Assist with procurement activities using ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Sage, or similar) Support materials management, inventory control, and supply chain coordination Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and delivery timelines Assist with sourcing raw materials, components, and services aligned with production needs Maintain accurate purchase orders, contracts, and procurement records Monitor inventory levels and coordinate logistics to support production Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities Support procurement strategies related to sourcing, pricing, and inventory management What We’re Looking For Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills for working with vendors and internal teams Basic understanding of procurement, inventory, or supply chain processes Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Sage, Oracle, or similar) preferred Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Why Join Safe Air Technology Fast-growing company with long-term opportunities Key role supporting production and operations Team-focused environment built on Integrity, Precision, and Empowerment Competitive pay based on experience Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Work Location: In person (Baton Rouge, LA)
