Assistant to the Creative Director

The Assistant to the Creative Director ensures the Creative Director's time, priorities, and execution stay tightly aligned with the most important business goals. The Creative Director's work touches product, merchandising, and marketing, and this role ensures nothing falls through the cracks across those areas.This position is in-person full time, Monday to Friday, in our Philadelphia office.Key Responsibilities:Calendar & Priority ManagementOwn and manage the Creative Director's calendar with a focus on outcomes, not just schedulingProactively anticipate conflicts and restructure time to align with business prioritiesEnsure the Creative Director is spending time on the highest-impact workMeeting & Workflow DisciplineEnsure key design and product meetings are prepared, purposeful, and decision-drivenGather materials, samples, and context in advanceHold teams accountable for being readyTrack follow-ups and ensure execution happensProduct Team CoordinationSupport the Creative Director in design and product meetings (fittings, sample reviews, concept reviews)Keep the Creative Director informed on key product timelines and remind her of upcoming milestones, deadlines, and approvalsFlag risks early (missed deadlines, sample delays, etc.)Assist with design meeting presentations, organize samples, assist with photoshoot prep and style outs, and prepare decks for photoshootsCross-Functional AlignmentHelp connect product, merchandising, and marketing on Creative Director-led projectsEnsure communication is clear and deadlines are understood across teamsKeep projects moving forward without constant oversightAdministrative & Project SupportManage Creative Director's inbox and communicationsSupport brand collaborations with light project managementAssist with travel planning and research for seasonal concept and inspiration tripsKitchen maintenance (dishwasher, surfaces, restocking, etc.) and working closely with the office managerTrash removal and general tidinessSupporting shared spaces to ensure they are consistently presentableSupporting with team-building activities/events Assisting with PR events, ordering supplies, working with vendors as necessary, and ensuring a smooth run of daySupport with trend research and market research Personal & Household ManagementSchedule personal and family appointments (medical, kids' activities, etc.)Coordinate household logistics and errands as needed, about 1-2 hours a dayManage personal travel planning alongside work travelRequirements5-7+ years of experience supporting a founder, executive, or senior leader in a fast-paced environmentHighly organized, proactive, and dependableDemonstrated ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independentlyComfortable with hands-on work and physical tasks (organizing, lifting boxes, setting up rooms, running errands)Professional, warm, and polishedCalm under pressure; able to manage many small moving pieces without escalationComfortable working in a creative, fast-paced, imperfect environmentValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredBenefitsWhat We OfferHealth and dental insurancePTO and paid holidays401(k) with company matchEmployee discount on all Printfresh productsAbout Our CultureAt Printfresh, we celebrate creativity, sustainability, and a customer-first mindset.
