Project Manager - Civil Site Development

If you're an experienced engineer who thrives in a client-focused, project leadership role, this position is for you.What you'll do • Manage one or multiple civil site development projects for residential and private sector clientsPrepare and oversee the development of construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructureDevelop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure successful project deliveryLead proposal preparation and fee development effortsCoordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teamsVisit client offices and project sites to support project execution and business developmentOversee engineering work and interface with other disciplines as neededMonitor project progress using accounting and project tracking toolsSupervise and mentor engineers and technicians as part of project teamsCommunicate project status, risks, and solutions effectivelyWhat you bring • Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license required6+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project managementExperience producing residential site design plans and working with residential clientsStrong understanding of civil site design, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systemsExperience managing project scope, schedules, and budgetsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3DStrong written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approachDemonstrated business development skillsStrong leadership abilities with experience supervising project teamsUnderstanding of business financial metrics and project performance trackingProven ability to manage multiple assignments and appropriately prioritize workflowStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlinesWhy Thomas & Hutton? • Competitive salary plus performance bonusCondensed work schedule for better work-life balanceTop-tier health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage401(k), generous PTO, holidays, and tuition assistanceThomas & Hutton University and hands-on Civil 3D mentoring to advance your careerSchedule:On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.How to apply:Ready to design the future?
