Assistant Registrar for Catalog & Curriculum Systems
The Assistant Registrar for Catalog & Curriculum Systems provides leadership, operational oversight, and system management for the university's academic catalog and curriculum management systems. This position ensures the accuracy, compliance, and timely publication of official academic information and supports institutional curriculum governance processes.
The role is responsible for maintaining the official University Catalog, including annual production and publication, and ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with approved academic policy. The Assistant Registrar manages the university's catalog software platform and provides official catalog updates to external partners and stakeholders as needed.
This position oversees coordination of data flow between the curriculum management system, the catalog platform, and the student information system, ensuring consistency between approved curriculum and published materials. The Assistant Registrar provides guidance to academic departments regarding catalog standards, timelines, and publication requirements and develops catalog-related documentation and training resources.
The Assistant Registrar supports curriculum governance processes through system administration and workflow coordination, ensuring that approved curriculum actions are accurately reflected in institutional systems and publications.
This role supports the Curricular Operations area and cross-trains on curricular duties as assigned.
This role serves on committees as assigned at the division and institutional level, and completes special projects as assigned. This position may be responsible for supervision of hourly and professional staff.
Required Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
One year full time higher education employment in registrar services, admissions, financial aid, student services, enrollment services, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred
Master's Degree
Two or more years full time experience specifically in Graduation operations, commencement, and other related Registrar processes.
Experience working with student information systems, (such as Ellucian Banner).
Excellent self-management, organization, and attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
