Electro Mechanical Technician

The Electro-mechanical Technician is responsible for performing diverse maintenance duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment at our juice company. This role supports the business goals by ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently, contributing to overall productivity and product quality. The Electro-mechanical Technician performs scheduled preventative maintenance, responds to emergency repairs, and conducts diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues promptly.Responsibilities:Safely perform all assigned preventative maintenance tasks in a timely mannerExecute emergency and unscheduled repairs on production equipment during operationsUtilize mechanical skills to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and other machinery componentsDiagnose equipment problems, replace or repair defective parts, and conduct testing and adjustments to ensure proper functionalityDocument machine malfunctions and maintenance activities to track equipment efficiency and performanceConduct routine visual inspections of machinery and equipment to detect faulty operations or defective materialsReport findings and recommend solutions to supervisors to improve equipment reliability and performanceAdhere to safety policies and procedures including lock-out/tag-out, hot work permits, and confined space protocolsEnsure compliance with food safety and quality standards in all maintenance activitiesPerform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managementQualifications:Minimum 3 years of maintenance-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience as an Industrial Electrician. (Required)Proficient in working on single pole, 2 pole, single phase and 3 phase. (Required)Experience in working with 24-volt, 120-volt, 230-volt and 480-volt. (Required)Understanding of VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) controls and motor starters. (Required) Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshootingBasic understanding of safety protocols and regulations in an industrial settingStrong attention to detail and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectivelyFamiliarity with food safety and quality standards (SSOP, HACCP)Certification or additional training in maintenance-related fields. (Preferred)Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment. (Preferred)Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). (Preferred)Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with team membersAbility to work a Monday to Saturday work week?
