Primary services include grant writing, program evaluation, process improvement, and data management.About the RoleRole Title: Organizational Development and Change Management ConsultantWork Structure: Remote, ContractPositions to Be Filled: 2The Organizational Development and Change Management Consultant is an independent subcontractor who is responsible for supporting organizational effectiveness by assessing structures, workflows, and processes and developing practical recommendations to improve efficiency and service delivery. For employee engagement projects, this role operates as an Internal Change Communications Specialist, leading the development of clear, transparent, and trust-building communications between leadership and employees throughout the assessment process.Work under this subcontract will begin only upon contract award and issuance of the official notice to proceed.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement of large-scale public sector projectsPartner with project team to align the development of recommendations with the client's vision and project goalsReview and assess the current organizational structure across departmentsEvaluate internal processes, workflows, and service delivery modelsIdentify inefficiencies, duplication of effort, and misalignment with organizational mandatesAnalyze how structure, roles, and workflows support or hinder effectivenessCollaborate with the Workforce Planning Analyst on staffing and workload analysisDevelop recommendations for: Hierarchical, functional, and divisional structuresImproved interdepartmental coordinationProcess and workflow efficienciesAlignment of roles with strategic priorities and service demandsSupport staff interviews, surveys, and stakeholder engagement activities, as neededContribute to written findings and recommendations in the Organizational ReviewMaintain clear, professional communication with key stakeholdersExpected to attend client meetingsWork with minimal supervisionAdditional related tasks may be assignedSkills NeededAbility to participate on large-scale public sector projectsProfessional temperamentAble to work individually and with a teamUnderstanding of cross-functional and cross-team collaborationKnowledge of developing and analyzing surveys, timelines, and documentationAbility to analyze and optimize resource allocationAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to multi-taskExperience or familiarity with collaborative work spaces such as Google Workspace and SharePoint, and project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Jira, etc.Experience using Microsoft and Google programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs and Google SheetsQualifications3+ years experience in a similar position, OREducation in related area, professional change management certification, or proven success in a related role for more than one yearAbility to participate on large-scale public sector projectsExperience with governmental agencies and/or nonprofit organizationsExperience or familiarity with collaborative work spaces such as Google Workspace and SharePoint, etc.Experience using Microsoft and Google programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs and Google SheetsSkilled in communicating with diverse stakeholders across all levels of an organizationProfessional communication skillsAbility to receive feedback gracefullyUnderstanding of how to apply feedback effectivelyCourage to ask questions when unsureRequirements3+ years experience in a similar position, OREducation in related area, professional change management certification, or proven success in a related role for more than one yearAbility to participate on large-scale public sector projectsExperience or familiarity with collaborative work spaces such as Google Workspace and SharePoint, etc.Experience using Microsoft and Google programs, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs and Google SheetsCandidate must own a laptop or desktop computer with reliable internet accessPossess a professional demeanorPlease be sure to list all relative degrees and certifications to strengthen your potential for candidacy.CompensationThis engagement is structured as an independent contract and is not classified as hourly, salaried, or employment. A fixed compensation will be per project, and according to pre-approved rates outlined in the contract [addendum].This is a contract engagement, and the selected contractor will be required to sign a Subcontractor Agreement. As an independent contractor, this engagement does not include employee benefits. The contractor is responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
