Job Description General Summary:As a Machine operator you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specific functions. The listed below are included but are not limited to.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Cleaning, stacking, and moving palletsIdentify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performedLearn to set up machinery and perform tool changes as neededLearn how to perform changeoversLoad programs/inputs into the machine controlLearn how to perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment usedUse proper tools on the machineBunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing processPractice exceptional housekeepingOther related duties may be assigned as needed. The responsibilities listed above are not intended to be an exhaustive list.Job Qualifications:Experience: Machine operator experienceForklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)Blueprint reading skillsThe ability to understand and convert decimals and fractionsDetailed orientedComputer skillGood communication skillsGeneral labor skillsPhysical Requirements for the jobAbility to move at least 50lbsAbility to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per dayWear the necessary PPE for the position
