Senior Security Advisor - IAM (Remote)

Duties and Responsibilities:Leads structured IAM assessment engagements for small and medium-sized businesses across multiple industries, delivering comprehensive current state analysis, future state recommendations, maturity enhancements, and strategic roadmapsFacilitates discovery sessions to evaluate client environments across IGA, AM, PAM, and Identity Verification (IdV) domainsDevelops polished, executive-ready deliverables that address people, process, and technology recommendationsServes as a trusted advisor during the presales process, identifying and aligning the right IAM services to client needsSupports clients through vendor selection and helps define a clear path forward for IAM program improvementsCollaborates with internal teams to continuously develop and refine assessment methodology and service offeringsContributes to thought leadership through development of reusable frameworks, templates, and best practice contentEmbraces emerging technologies, including AI tools, to work smarter, solve problems, and drive better business outcomesSome light travel (10%) may be required for annual CKO, Regional IAM events, regional corp event support (GPSEC), etcQualifications:7+ years of experience in IAM strategy, governance, and advisory services spanning IGA, AM, PAM, and IdVExceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to create and present compelling, executive-level deliverablesExperience conducting IAM maturity assessments and developing strategic roadmapsProven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across technical and business audiences4-5 years of experience supporting presales engagements, scoping complex IAM projects, and developing statements of workDeep understanding of IAM industry standards, frameworks, and best practices including NIST, ISO, and OWASPSelf-motivated with the ability to effectively manage a remote work environment and work independentlyAbility to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverablesStrong business acumen with the ability to translate complex IAM concepts into clear business value and risk language for executive audiencesPreferred:Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISAFamiliarity with IAM-related compliance frameworks such as SOX, HIPAA, or GDPRCreative thinker with the ability to develop innovative advisory approaches and presentation styles that clearly communicate complex IAM concepts to diverse audiencesFamiliarity with common IAM vendor landscapes to support objective vendor selection guidanceEducation:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field
