This role requires deep technical expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and proven experience managing complex tax cycles and co‐sourcing relationships.ResponsibilitiesTax Implications of Mergers and AcquisitionsDue Diligence: Work closely with the M&A team and external advisors to perform tax due diligence on potential acquisitions.Structuring: Assist the EVP in analyzing and recommending tax‐efficient structuring for proposed transactions, including familiarity with Subchapter K (partnership tax).Integration: Lead the tax integration of acquired entities, ensuring alignment of tax policies, systems, and compliance requirements.Tax ComplianceOversee the preparation and timely filing of all federal, state and foreign tax compliance which includes a complex partnership structure and several C Corporations working closely with our co‐sourcing partner.Lead the coordination of audits and notices resulting from such filings globally.Work closely with the advisors of our Shareholders to understand their needs related to tax compliance reporting and ensure timely communication.Tax ProvisionOversee the preparation of the US Income Tax Provision under ASC 740 working closely with the Corporate Controller.Identify and mitigate tax risks, ensuring the company has appropriate risk management strategies in place.Work with the Company's auditor to respond to their questions and documentation requirements in a timely fashion.Tax PlanningAssist the EVP of Tax on the Company's efforts in tax planning including identifying strategic opportunities related to transactions, credit and incentives, methods of accounting, and other tax planning opportunities.Work with our co‐sourcing partners to understand legislative changes globally that might impact the company and model their impact so that the Company can respond in the most tax efficient manner.IPO ReadinessAssist in preparing the tax function for eventual public company reporting requirements and SEC filings.Implement and monitor controls in preparation for IPO and ongoing compliance requirements.Support preparation of tax‐related disclosures and serve as liaison to auditors and advisors for IPO‐related matters.Ensure tax strategy aligns with expectations for a public company, including risk management and forward‐looking planning.Prepare the tax team for increased reporting, compliance, and documentation requirements associated with going public.Team Leadership and DevelopmentTeam Development: Help mentor and develop the in‐house tax team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.External Relationships: Manage and evaluate the performance of external tax advisors, co‐sourcing partners, and third‐party service providers.Key QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in relevant field, holds CPA certification.Minimum 10 years industry experience in tax.Strong technical tax skills in mergers and acquisitions.Significant technical tax skills in Subchapter K.Always displays the highest levels of professional integrity, honesty, and personal credibility.Strategic thinker – forward looking and able to balance delivery today with longer term goals.High‐energy, creative, and resourceful self‐starter who demonstrates leadership skills and instincts.Team player, receptive to ideas.
