HL7 Interface Developer (C#)

Location: Aventura, Florida Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled HL7 Developer with strong C# experience to join our interoperability team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HL7 v2.x interfaces, interface engines, and healthcare workflows. This role involves developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HL7 interfaces, as well as collaborating with analysts and implementation teams to ensure high-quality integrations. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain HL7 v2.x interfaces using C# and related technologies.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with inbound and outbound HL7 messages.Collaborate with interface analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver seamless integrations.Optimize existing interfaces for performance, reliability, and scalability.Document technical specifications, workflows, and configurations.Participate in testing and validation of interfaces with vendors, partners, and clients.Provide ongoing support for production interfaces and respond to incident tickets. Qualifications:Strong proficiency in C# (.NET Framework/.NET Core) development.Hands-on experience with HL7 v2.x standards (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, etc.).Familiarity with interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, eGate, or similar).Understanding of healthcare data exchange workflows.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills:Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).Experience working with hospital systems such as EMR/EHR, LIS, RIS, PACS, or HIS.Exposure to HIPAA requirements and healthcare data security best practices. Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on impactful healthcare integration projects.Collaborative team environment with growth opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.
