Providing legal guidance on regulatory compliance and corporate matters, the full-time California Licensed Regulatory Counsel will focus on data privacy, consumer protection, and emerging technology issues, while working remotely or onsite in Sunnyvale, California. Key responsibilitiesLead compliance initiatives for U.S. and international data privacy laws, including GDPR and CPRA Assess legal risks associated with AI-enabled products and support compliance efforts related to privacy and data protection Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze legal issues and provide actionable business guidanceRequired qualificationsJD degree and active California Bar membership, with 5+ years of legal experience, including in-house and law firm experience Strong knowledge of international, federal, and state privacy laws and regulatory frameworks Experience in developing compliance programs and policies for regulated industries Ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical business guidance Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
