Primary function of this position will be to coordinate and document driver performance related to the check-in and check-out duties during the dispatch process. Responsibilities What you’ll do Support dispatch operation at distribution center and related hubs ensuring that all routes are being monitored and completed appropriately. Assist in dispatch of Delivery Routes and Shuttle Routes. Track status of vehicles and equipment. Reacts to breakdowns, accidents, and driver call-ins. Manage the driver check-in process to address overages, shortages & damages along with proper driver sign out at end of shift. Review PeopleNet trips from driver on-board computer. Report non-compliance with Department of Transportation Hours of Service. Track over/under hours for route drivers. Qualifications Qualifications you bring: High School Diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of experience in an office/operation setting Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to interact well with employees and customers PC Literate with advanced-level Excel skills Strong attention to detail DOT and Hours of Service knowledge a plus Equal Opportunity Employer: NDCP is an equal opportunity employer.
