Job Description OverviewSonographer — Ultrasound imaging with Echo and Vascular focus in Batesville, AR, United StatesStart date: 06/22/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Weekly pay: $2,542–$2,620 per week | Guaranteed hours: 40 per week | Shift: Days (8-hour shifts) Tue–Fri 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and Sat 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.This travel assignment supports an inpatient imaging service within a health system.Key HighlightsWeekly pay: $2,542–$2,620 per weekGuaranteed hours: 40 per weekContract duration: 13 weeksShift: Days; Tue–Fri 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.; Sat 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.Start date: 06/22/2026Work setting: Inpatient imaging department within a health systemResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality ultrasound exams with emphasis on echocardiography and vascular studiesConduct studies including TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous Doppler, carotid Doppler, arterial Doppler, and ABI; assist with related procedures (pericardiocentesis,thrombin injections) as applicableImage optimization, patient preparation, and documentation in MediTech EMRManage workload during high-volume periods, communicate pending exams to colleagues, and assist other technologists as neededMaintain equipment and supplies, ensure cleanliness and disinfection between patients, and follow department policiesRespond to on-call or call-back per policy, arriving within 30 minutes when requestedMaintain professional relationships with patients, physicians, and interdepartmental staff; participate in required in-servicesRequirementsActive ARDMS certificationActive American Heart Association BLS certification2+ years of ultrasound experience with Echo and vascular capabilitiesProficiency in echocardiography with Definity contrast and comprehensive vascular studies (including TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous and arterial assessments, carotid, ABI)MediTech EMR experienceAbility to start IVTwo supervisory references submitted within the last two yearsGeographic eligibility: The assignment requires applicants to reside outside 90 miles of Batesville; applicants between 90 and 150 miles may be reviewed but might not be selectedBenefits and Support40 hours guaranteed per weekAssignment length: 13 weeks with potential extension opportunitiesDedicated assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the placementFind more opportunitiesIf you'd like to explore other openings, the Hiring Organization invites you to apply at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULEPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
