There are many reasons to build your career at Carter's.How You’ll Make An ImpactThis role typical reports to Director, Analytics COE & Strategy and is based in our Buckhead Office.Lead analytics projects (30%)Serve as the technical and analytical Subject Matter Expert (SME)Lead and mentor team membersCollaborate with business SMEs to produce analytical solutionsEnable Tableau and other tools for Self-Service analytics within functional business groups to improve insights and efficiencyData modeling and machine learning (20%)Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop data-driven solutionsDesign and execute analytics projectsBuild and deploy machine learning modelsMonitor and maintain machine learning modelsData Engineering (20%)Develop custom queries per use caseConnect to a variety of databasesJoining, un-joining and shaping dataDesign and develop Tableau dashboards which include key metrics, variance reporting, and advanced analytics (20%)Work through Tableau dashboard lifecycle from frameworks to dashboard deploymentApply visual analytics principles to effectively communicate insightsCreating interactive dashboards with the end user in mindCreating calculations, parameters and leveraging Tableau analyticsDevelop ETL flows when necessaryFollow AGILE methodology to successfully manage and deliver projects (10%)Project management and leadershipTracking in JIRASecondary Functions IncludeRecommend and support the introduction of new or improved technical and business practices.Prepare documentation and user aids suitable to end user needs. Provide training to end users and support staff appropriate to the business need. Performs analytical, and programming tasks as assigned outside of conventional BI toolSupport BI tools and add-ons.We’d Love to hear from you if: (Requirements section)Must Have2+ years of experience with Machine Learning tools3 years of experience with BI Tool Expertise (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos,etc.)2 years of experience with Python, R, SQL (Procedures, Views, Functions, Scripts, etc.)2 years of experience with Data Warehouse / Databases (AWS Redshift, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)1+ year of experience with ETL Tool Exposure (Informatica, Data Stage etc.)Preferred Skills And ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in CS, Business, or similar field (Masters / MBA a plus)2 years of experience with Business Intelligence or Analytics experience2 years of experience with Data Warehouse / Data Integration development experience1 year of experience with Data Modeling experienceRetail and / or Wholesale experience is a plusCarters is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
