Job Overview
The Improvement Advisor plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's quality, safety, and service goals. The position involves applying Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Change Management methodologies to design processes, collect and analyze data, and report outcomes. The Advisor will collaborate with internal and external customers, including hospital administration, department leaders, medical staff, and healthcare providers, to facilitate improvement initiatives. The Improvement Advisor also serves as a facilitator for improvement teams, driving changes and ensuring sustainability through effective data collection and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Support quality, safety, and service initiatives across the organization and its service lines.
Utilize Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and Change Management methodologies to improve processes.
Collect, analyze, and report data outcomes for process improvement projects.
Collaborate with hospital administration, department directors, managers, medical staff, healthcare providers, and external vendors.
Facilitate improvement teams, using data-driven strategies to implement and sustain changes.
Compensation
Salary: $85,000 annually.
Employment Type: Full-time.

Qualifications
Experience:
2+ to 5 years of experience in quality improvement or related fields.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or
Non-Nursing Bachelor's degree with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), or
Doctoral degree in Nursing.
Skills and Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License.
CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) or CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) Certification required within 12 months of hire.
Ideal Candidate
Experience as a Diabetes Educator.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality improvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
Capable of driving change through data collection and improvement facilitation.
