Caswell Parks Field Staff I

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:Painting and Staining. Prepare all surfaces for painting tables and shelters. Prepare the interior and exterior of park buildings when painting facilities.Clean-up and Maintenance. Perform general park clean-up and maintenance activities such as emptying trash cans, sweeping and cleaning shelters, picking up trash on the ground.Cleaning and maintaining the park restrooms, including mopping and scrubbing sinks, toilets, floors, and walls.Help maintain the ball fields and the soccer fields by utilizing specialized equipment.Follow all safety protocols and facility guidelines to ensure a secure environment.Perform minor repairs on fences, netting, scoreboards, and other facility structures.Required QualificationsMust be at least 16 years old.Must have a valid Minnesota driver's license.Must be able to perform general labor, including frequently lifting and/or moving up to 75 lbs. and occasionally lifting and/or moving more than 100 lbs.HOURS OF WORK: Work hours are 40 hours a week and include weekend and evening hours dependent on tournaments and games scheduled at Caswell. Overtime work may be required due to scheduling requirements or emergency situations.NATURE OF WORK: Under supervision, this position is responsible for maintaining the Caswell Sports facilities. This position primarily consists of maintenance duties such as mowing, landscaping, building maintenance, and playground equipment maintenance.
