CNC Machinist III

Machinist OpportunityOlive Recruiting is looking for a machinist to work with our client in Milwaukie, OR. The ideal candidate is someone with prior CNC machining using a Mill and/or Lathe in precision manufacturing. Full time, direct hire, 1st shift opportunity, great benefits and growing company!Responsibilities:Manufacture parts using a CNC lathe or MillRead and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirementsBe able to start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls as requiredMust be able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills and lathesPerform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing processQualifications:Strong understanding of Fanuc/Mitsubishi controlsExperience with various metals including aluminum and steelStrong math skills, computer skills, and Microsoft Office are a must.3+ years of experience in CNC machining
