This role requires strong ICU experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting and flexibility to float down to Step-Down ICU as needed.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct care to ICU and Step-Down ICU patients.Monitor critically ill patients and respond to changes in condition.Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards.Develop and follow individualized patient care plans.Document patient care accurately in Epic.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.Support patient safety, quality care, and department improvement efforts.Float to Step-Down ICU as required.RequirementsActive Illinois Registered Nurse license required.Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.Education verification required.Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required.Level 1 Trauma Center ICU experience strongly required.Current BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.Epic EMR experience preferred.Must be willing to float to Step-Down ICU.Holiday coverage required.Quick start availability preferred.We're excited to review your application and look forward to having you as part of our team.
