PT / Rehabilitation - Outpatient / Physical Therapist (Days) Keene
Physical TherapistCheshire Medical Center offers a broad range of therapies for all ages and abilities. Many of our therapists are highly specialized or certified in distinct areas of practice. Your intake conversation or direct referral will help us place you with the best therapist to meet your individual needs. Physical therapy helps build strength, regain mobility, and improve balance. It can also strengthen your body, reduce pain, and prevent future injury. You may need it to: adapt to an artificial limb, control your bowels or bladder, or improve sexual function, elevate athletic performance, get a splint or brace, improve movement or ability, learn to use assistive devices like a walker or cane, manage a chronic illness like diabetes, arthritis, or lung disease, perform your job safely after an illness or injury, prepare for or recover from surgery, prevent disability or surgery, prevent or recover from a sports injury, recover after a stroke, accident, injury, or cancer, recover after birth, reduce dizziness or improve your balance, relieve pain, work on balance to prevent a slip or fall.Previous training in and competency in use of standard PT modalities (Estim, USD,) expected, device specific training to be provided. Patient population: typically adult, but experience in all age groups welcome. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. RTO requests after upload will not be approved!! No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted (less is better). Traveler must be willing to work two of the following: Thanksgiving and weekend after Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after. Dress code: either personal scrubs of any color or business casual (athleisure/stretchy clothing ok too, but no leggings, crop shirts, etc). No open toe/back shoes. No non-billable orientation. Holiday and OT multipliers: 1.25%. Minimum 2+ years current PT experience (no new grads). Outpatient ortho experience. Previous travel experience highly preferred. EPIC and Expro experience - required. NH license must be in hand at profile upload. This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
