Staff Auditor

This position also offers the opportunity for rapid promotion to a Senior Auditor.ResponsibilitiesManage assigned audit clients, including scheduling, communication, and issue resolutionEnsure completion of key audit components (bank confirmations, predecessor auditor letters, invoice vouching, reserve study entry, etc.)Review internal control questionnaires before and during auditsPrepare and review audit workpapers and documentationPerform audit procedures across all financial statement areas (accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, prepaid insurance, cash)Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and reliabilityDocument audit tests, findings, and conclusionsPrepare planning workpapers, including materiality assessmentsPerform subsequent events testing and equity reconciliationsRecord journal entries for audit adjustmentsPrepare audited financial statementsCollaborate with audit managers on issues, planning strategies, and process improvementsPartner with internal teams including admin, engagement coordination, and taxCommunicate directly with clients via email, phone, and in-person meetingsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA or actively pursuing CPA designation1-3 years of progressive audit experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and client-facing abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
