How You Will Make an Impact
Our guests seek luxury, value, and world-class service. As a Diesel Technician, you will maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair. You will impact whether we become our guest’s favorite place to purchase, lease, or service their vehicle.
What Winning Looks Like:
Demonstrating a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations, and headlight and taillight installations
Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
Inspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for emissions and safety
Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify the soundness
Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accordance with manufacturer/dealership standards.
Inspect vehicles and record findings.
Explain vehicle diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors.
Keep current with new technical information and technology by attending required/recommended manufacturer training.
Skills Needed to Win:
2+ years of prior diesel diagnostic, and repair experience required
Duramax Diesel experience preferred.
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
Possess a valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable driving record
