Consulting Engineer I

This position requires you to work on site so you must live within commute distance to the work location. The Consulting Engineer - Level I will support engineering requests in system engineering and integration & design, engineering analysis, and reviews by providing presentations/reports with graphical representation of design support as required and requested. Support LTV Engineering requests in system engineering and integration & design, engineering analysis, and reviews. Generate presentations and reports upon request and as required. Provide graphic representation of design support as required. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or chain of command.  Education BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering, Math, or Science Experience A minimum of 15 years of professional experience License, Cert or Registration Current drivers’ license if security clearance is required Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. Special knowledge, skills, & abilities Have expert domain knowledge specifically in Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV), Lunar Surface Habitats, commercial spacecraft design and configuration, crew module structures, crew interfaces, Lunar Surface Landers, and demonstrated experience in leading design teams and managing development activities for new business proposals.
