Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Day shift schedule with rotating weekends • Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and state laws • Document patient care according to standards of care • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care • Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians • Provide patient and family education and instruction • Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance • Utilize clinical expertise to provide guidance to other units and departments • Apply critical thinking for patient safety and experience, escalating appropriately through chain of command • Participate in professional nursing continuum process and peer review activities • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS • Active Wisconsin RN licensure required • RN education verification required • Experienced ER RN required for this position Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive hospital and medical center providing emergency services and acute care to the community.
