The position ensures that projects are planned, entitled, and executed in alignment with the resort's long-term vision, capital strategy, and regulatory requirements.The role supports project delivery across annual capital expenditures and development efforts, coordinating consultants, contractors, stakeholders, and jurisdictional processes to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is accountable for supporting the delivery of the built environment, including infrastructure, facilities, and land use initiatives.Specific Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree required, preferably in Urban Planning, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field3-5+ years of experience in land use planning, development, or project managementExperience supporting capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and consultant coordinationExperience with land use entitlement and permitting processes across multiple jurisdictionsUnderstanding of land use codes, development agreements, easements, encroachments and land managementAbility to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailStrong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with leadership, public agencies, and external stakeholdersExperience coordinating across internal teams and external partners, including municipalities, agencies, consultants, and contractorsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and change management practicesAbility to build and maintain strong relationships and influence cross-functional teams without direct authorityStrong business acumen with the ability to align project execution with broader resort goals and objectivesJob Duties And ResponsibilitiesCapital Project Delivery and Development ExecutionSupport execution of annual capital expenditure projects from planning, permitting, and construction deliveryCoordinate with local jurisdictions including Park City, MIDA, Summit County, and Wasatch County to support regulatory alignmentSupport Business Units in development of capital investment memorandums, including construction budgeting and scope definitionDevelop project scopes, schedules, phasing plans, and line-item budgets to support successful project executionSupport implementation of project delivery strategies aligned with Deer Valley's capital planning and long-term development objectivesCoordinate contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support delivery within scope, schedule, and budgetMonitor project progress and escalate risks, supporting adjustments to scope, timelines, and resources as neededSupport preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid packages, based on design direction from Resort leadershipSupport construction-to-operations handoff by ensuring projects are delivered in a manner that enables operational readinessSupport the Vice President of Resort Planning and Director of Program Development in advancing large-scale development and strategic initiativesPay Rate$90,000-110,000Other duties as assigned.
