GeoSnake is built for the shift from traditional SEO to GEO, supporting business growth in a future where customers rely on AI for direct answers rather than just search results.Role Description The Back-end Developer Claude (remote) role at GeoSnake | AI Optimization is a part-time, fully remote position focused on building and maintaining server-side systems that power GEO analytics. In this role, the developer will design, implement, and optimize APIs and data pipelines that integrate with large language models, including Claude, to ingest, process, and store AI visibility data. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean, secure, and testable backend code, implementing database schemas, improving performance and scalability, and ensuring reliability of the infrastructure. The developer will collaborate closely with product and data teams to support features such as brand mention tracking, sentiment analysis, and reporting dashboards. This role also involves monitoring production systems, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to architectural decisions for new GEO-related services.Qualifications Strong back-end development skills (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar), including designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs and working with microservices architectures.Experience with databases and data storage (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL solutions) and designing efficient schemas for analytics workloads.Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, CI/CD pipelines), with the ability to deploy, monitor, and maintain remote services.Familiarity with AI/LLM integration (e.g., working with APIs such as Claude, ChatGPT, or other LLMs) and handling data pipelines for text analysis and reporting.Proficiency in writing secure, testable code, including unit and integration tests, code reviews, and adherence to best practices in version control (e.g., Git).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions and optimize performance.Effective remote collaboration skills, including clear written communication, comfort with asynchronous workflows, and proactive documentation.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
