Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various HVAC equipment, with a specialized focus on pumps, humidifiers, boilers, water heaters, and heat exchangers.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing pumps, heat exchangers, humidifiers, boilers, and water heaters.
Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Test HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and compliance with industry regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients, explaining technical issues and providing recommendations for system improvements or replacements.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and service calls.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
Experience as an HVAC Technician.
Understanding of HVAC systems, including pumps, heat exchangers, humidifiers, boilers, and water heaters.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to periodically wear a respirator.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. We primarily serve central Virginia, but provide support throughout Virginia with occasional extended driving.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
5 years of relevant experience.
Experience tuning combustion in gas fired equipment.
Experience with refrigeration equipment.
Experience with pump repair/rebuilds.
Experience working with BMS and equipment controls.
Master tradesman license in heating, ventilation & air conditioning (HVA).
