Backend / Blockchain Engineer – Java / Spring / Web3We are working with a leading global financial institution seeking a talented Backend Blockchain Engineer to join the core engineering team building their next-generation Digital Platform.This is an exciting opportunity for a software engineer with enterprise application experience to work at the intersection of blockchain technology, Web3, and financial services, developing secure, scalable solutions for digital asset applications.You will play a key role in designing and delivering backend services, solving complex engineering challenges, and collaborating with a global team of engineers to build enterprise-grade blockchain-enabled applications.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deliver backend applications using Java & SpringBuild scalable enterprise solutions leveraging blockchain and digital asset technologiesCollaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutionsApply best practices across architecture, design patterns, reliability, and performanceSupport technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvementKey Requirements:Strong backend development experience with Java & SpringExperience building enterprise-grade web applicationsUnderstanding of blockchain, Web3 infrastructure, and digital assetsExperience with Web3 libraries (Web3J/Web3JS), Solidity, or smart contracts is highly desirableFamiliarity with DevOps practices and containerised applications is a plusFinancial services experience is advantageousJoin a high-performing engineering team working on cutting-edge digital asset technology within one of the world’s largest financial institutions.
