Forward Deployed Engineer
This is a remote position.Role Overview:Twenty20 Systems is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to embed directly with enterprise clients, build, and deploy end-to-end solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.Key Responsibilities: Own the full technical engagement lifecycle — from discovery and architecture through build, integration, deployment, and client handoff. Embed directly with clients to diagnose workflow, data, and automation gaps at the systems and process level. Design and implement production-grade AI solutions including LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted automation. Develop integrations across enterprise platforms that connect systems and unlock data flow. Translate ambiguous client problems into clean technical specifications and own their execution. Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders, serving as the primary technical face of Twenty20 on engagement. Document solutions, architectures, and configurations to enable client self-sufficiency and internal knowledge transfer. Surface expansion opportunities and provide ground-level intelligence back to Twenty20 leadership. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in a technical consulting, solutions architecture, and/or deployment engineering role. Domain experience in financial services (banking, insurance, fintech, capital markets) or healthcare/pharma (payer, provider, life sciences, or medical devices) — one or both required. Proven AI implementation experience in production environments — LLM integration, RAG, agentic workflows, or ML deployment into live business processes. Proficiency with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Comfortable working in Python, SQL, and REST API environments. Experience with CRM or ERP ecosystems; Salesforce experience is a strong plus. Strong communicator who can operate equally well in an executive briefing and a technical sprint. Self-directed, resourceful, and energized by ambiguity — you find the path forward when one isn't handed to you.
