Aircraft mechanic

Job Description Join the Greenville Team and help us keep critical missions airborne. We are seeking a skilled Sustainment Avionics, F-16 Technician Level 2 to perform vital flight test and depot functions. This is a hands-on role ensuring our F-16 fleet remains mission-ready through expert electrical and avionics work. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for flight test modifications and ensuring the integrity of avionics systems. Your daily duties will include:Installing and routing electrical harnesses, wires, and various cables.Performing precision soldering, splicing, and termination operations.Conducting continuity testing, system testing, and operational checks to verify flight readiness.Supporting flight test mods and troubleshooting/repairing electrical and avionics systems.Performing related general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections as needed.Shift Schedule*Please note: While this is primarily a first-shift role, you must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift as assigned after the initial training period.*1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AMBasic Qualifications4+ years of recent F-16 fighter avionics/electrical experience.Proven experience in wire harness print reading and electrical diagnosis/repair.Strong proficiency with avionics testing, continuity testing, and system operational checks.Ability to perform soldering and precise termination operations.Must be able to work either 1st or 2nd shift as business needs dictate.Desired Skills & Broader Fighter ExperienceWe value all fighter jet backgrounds. Candidates who do not have 4+ years of direct F-16 experience will be considered if they possess 6+ years of recent, hands-on experience on other fighter platforms , including the F-18, F-15, F-22, or F-35. Specific expertise we are looking for includes:Advanced electrical troubleshooting.Deep familiarity with fighter-specific avionics/electrical systems.Cross-platform adaptability and a strong technical foundation in fighter sustainment.
