*IPHNY is looking for a Program Manager to lead our Community Connections program!*
Community Connections serves as an important access point for individuals and families seeking housing, resources, support, and greater stability. We’re looking for someone who can balance compassion with accountability, lead a dedicated team, build strong community partnerships, and make sure our program delivers the high-quality services our community deserves.
*What You’ll Do*
As the Program Manager, you’ll be the person helping keep Community Connections moving forward. You will:
* Lead, coach, and support the Community Connections team
* Oversee day-to-day program operations and service delivery
* Manage staff schedules, time-off requests, timesheets, supervision, and performance
* Support hiring, onboarding, training, and professional development
* Ensure participants receive person-centered, trauma-informed services and referrals
* Help staff navigate challenging situations through de-escalation and problem-solving
* Build relationships with community organizations, service providers, and neighborhood partners
* Represent IPHNY at community meetings, coalitions, outreach activities, and events
* Monitor program goals, outcomes, documentation, and required reporting
* Oversee systems and data including HMIS and UniteUs
* Work collaboratively with Finance and Operations to monitor program expenses and needs
* Keep the program organized, compliant, welcoming, and focused on its mission
*Who We’re Looking For*
You may be a great fit if you’re someone who can lead with empathy while still holding people accountable.
*We’re looking for:*
* At least 3 years of supervisory or program management experience in human services or a nonprofit environment
* Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Comfort using Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and data-management systems
* A valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation
*Preferred*: A bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field, along with experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, budgeting, grant compliance, or Capital Region community resources.

Pay: $62,353.20 per year
