Responsibilities Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility support Monitor patients’ health by taking vital signs, observing for changes, and reporting findings accurately Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Facilitate engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being Operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing regular cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Required Qualifications DDA trainings. CMT First Aid and CPR Previous experience in caregiving, home community care, or senior care is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and first aid practices is essential. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to perform light housekeeping duties such as cooking and cleaning. Experience or training in social work or memory care is a plus. Must possess a caring attitude, patience, and a strong desire to help others. Ability to work flexible hours as required by client needs.
