This role is ideal for professionals passionate about advancing patient comfort, clinical safety, and healthcare innovation. Advisors will guide our expansion across direct-to-consumer, small practices (IVF, weight loss, IV therapy ), and enterprise channels (hospital sys).Why This Board, Why Now We’re at an inflection point at Thimble.We’ve proven product–market fit and clear demand. We now need capital to scale manufacturing and to accelerate distribution and awareness.Because of that, we are building a small, action‑oriented Clinical Health Advisory Board of leaders who: Are deeply mission‑aligned around changing the standard of care for needle procedures Are already well‑positioned in the healthcare ecosystem (health systems, payors, large employers, etc.) Are in a financial and life position to invest in the solutions they want to see in the worldOur expectation is that board members are both: Active champions – opening doors into health systems, using their voice and platform to elevate Thimble, and helping us meaningfully shift clinical practice and standard of care. Investors – taking a meaningful equity stake in the company so that our incentives are aligned and we’re building this together. In this round, that typically looks like a ~$50K investment.Right now the opportunity for the right people is to “pour gasoline on an existing fire” — to accelerate a product that already works and is loved, while using your expertise and position in healthcare to help rewrite the standard of care for needle procedures.Key Responsibilities Provide Clinical & Market Expertise : Share insights on pain management, patient adherence, pediatrics, blood donation, and procedural care. Support Product Development : Guide clinical validation, workflow integration, and B2B adoption strategies for hospitals and small practices. Facilitate Industry Networking : Introduce Thimble to physicians, health system leaders, payers, and potential distribution partners. Shape Value-Based Care Strategy : Advise on how Thimble can enhance adherence, improve patient satisfaction, and increase reimbursement protection for providers.As an Advisory Board Member, You Will Support Thimble’s mission to make needle procedures less painful for all patients, caregivers, and health workers. Guide our expansion into hospitals, clinics, and consumer markets. Facilitate strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, distributors, and public health stakeholders. Participate in fundraising strategy by helping to align Thimble with mission-driven investors.Ideal Candidates We are seeking advisors with experience in: Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, OB-GYN (Fertility), Hematology-Oncology, Dermatology, Family Practice, and other specialties where needles are a core part of care. Hospital & Clinic Operations (patient experience, adherence, safety). Value-Based Care, Payer Strategy, and Reimbursement Models. Consumer Health, Digital Health, and MedTech Innovation.Required Experience 10+ years of clinical, healthcare operations, or digital health experience.
