Our teams are empowered to grow, contribute, and make a meaningful impact through the projects we deliver.About Your RoleCMTS is seeking an experienced Program Scheduler to support aviation, transportation, and public infrastructure capital improvement programs throughout the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) Region. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and monitoring program and project schedules across multiple concurrent projects within complex capital improvement programs.Education RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Architecture, or related field preferredor An equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant scheduling experienceWhat You’ll Need to Get the Job Done 5–12 years of scheduling experience supporting aviation, transportation, infrastructure, or public sector capital improvement programs Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles and project controls methodologies Extensive experience developing and maintaining baseline schedules, integrated master schedules, and recovery schedules Experience reviewing contractor schedules, schedule updates, and time impact analyses Strong understanding of construction sequencing, phasing, procurement activities, and project delivery methods Ability to analyze schedule performance, identify critical path impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies Experience supporting multi-phase projects within active operational environments preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, schedule narratives, and executive summaries Ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities simultaneously in fast-paced project environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 required Experience with project controls reporting tools and scheduling analytics platforms preferred Ability to travel throughout Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia project locations as required What Will Make You Stand OutCertifications / Licenses PSP (Planning and Scheduling Professional) preferred PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred CCM (Certified Construction Manager) preferred Aviation or transportation infrastructure scheduling experience strongly preferred Software Primavera P6 Microsoft Project Power BI Procore e-Builder Microsoft 365 What You’ll DoDevelop, maintain, and manage program and project schedules for aviation, transportation, and infrastructure capital improvement programsPrepare baseline schedules, integrated master schedules, phasing schedules, recovery schedules, and milestone tracking reports Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance against baseline schedules and program milestones Review contractor schedules, monthly schedule updates, schedule narratives, and time impact analyses for compliance and accuracy Identify schedule risks, delays, conflicts, and critical path impacts while recommending mitigation and recovery strategies Coordinate scheduling activities with project managers, construction managers, contractors, consultants, and client representatives Support project controls activities related to forecasting, progress measurement, change management, and performance reporting Prepare schedule reports, executive summaries, dashboards, look-ahead schedules, and schedule analytics for leadership and client review Participate in project meetings, progress meetings, coordination meetings, and schedule review sessions Analyze project phasing, operational constraints, procurement timelines, and construction sequencing to support efficient project delivery Salary RangeCommensurate on Experience CMTS offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, professional development opportunities, and career advancement pathways.Equal Employment OpportunityCMTS, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected status in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
