The CPO will be instrumental in enhancing the organization's philanthropic endeavors and expanding its revenue streams. This pivotal role involves the development and implementation of a comprehensive revenue strategy, including philanthropy, corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and future capital initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for deepening donor engagement, modernizing systems, and securing transformational investments to support the organization's growth and impact. The CPO will also lead a team of 14 professionals and will be a key strategic partner, working closely with the President and CEO and the senior leadership team. Applicants for the Chief Philanthropy Officer position at the company should have a proven track record in fundraising and a strong understanding of the nonprofit sector. The role requires a leader with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team, as well as the skills to build and maintain relationships with donors and partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in major gifts, annual giving, institutional giving, and corporate partnerships, and will be adept at creating and executing successful development programs. A strategic and innovative approach to philanthropy is essential, as is the capacity to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
