The Enterprise Effects Division (EED) drives integration of Aerospace's strategic capabilities across the national space enterprise. The divisionleveragesa broad array of engineering disciplines against a dynamic portfolio of programs, customers, and national challenges. EED spans the capability lifecycle from concept and architecture design to performance assessment to application of space and space-enabled capabilities. The Enterprise Integration Solutions Office(EISO)guides the solution of cross-agency, multi-mission capability orchestration problems by building andleveragingintegrationexpertisethroughout the corporation. We build agile project teams who collaborate across disciplines, customers, international partners, and industry in support of national outcomes. The Commercial Space Integration Center (CSIC) integratescutting-edgecommercial solutions into government space missions, enhancing national capabilities. We bridge industry advancements with nationalobjectivesby surveying the market for innovative concepts, fostering relationships, assessing solution viability, and promoting modern acquisition strategies.We are looking for aSpace Industry Market & Business Analyst (Senior Member of the Technical Staff - System Engineering - Acquisition)within CSIC to maintain awareness of commercial offerings, evaluate providers considering market trends, and support integrated products to inform government program decisions. Work Model This full-time position requires 100% onsite work at one of the following locations: Chantilly, VA; El Segundo, CA; Pasadena, CA; or Colorado Springs, CO. WhatYou'llBe Doing Lead execution ofmarket research and company viability assessments aligned with program office strategic direction and proactive support of emerging needs.Performcompetitive landscape analysis to understand market positioning andidentifykey players within the commercial space industry,developing market intelligence briefings and reports.Identifyand advise customers on themarket and businessrisks associated with integrating commercial solutions into national capabilities.Executeindustry studiestoidentifyand highlight unique features,advantages, and challengesof service provider offeringsfrom amarketand business strategyperspective.Contribute tointegratedportfoliodecision support productsthat include technical,business,financial,and acquisition considerationsof commercial offerings.Support engagementwith national space enterprise customers to understand their mission requirements and challenges.Track and analyze emerging commercial space trends, innovations, and market shifts toinformassessment priorities.What You Need to be Successful MinimumRequirements for theSenior Member of the Technical Staff: Bachelor's degree in Economics,Management Sciences, Business Analytics,Engineering, or a related discipline.4years of experience in businessviability assessments,market analyses,or relatedstudies.Proven experience supporting a broad variety of government space mission architectures and relevant space market industry segments(remote sensing, communications, ground, launch, space domain awareness, PNT, weather, etc.).Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate offerings across the space industryin context of government missionobjectives.Demonstratedcommunication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.Willing to travel to meet the needs of the organization and customers,approximately5-10% of the time.This position requires a current and active TS/SCI clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
