Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas, collaborate, and build excellence through safe and reliable operations.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Millwright role located in Plain Dealing, LA. The Millwright will install, maintain, and repair mechanical and industrial equipment used in lumber manufacturing, including conveyors, saws, motors, gearboxes, and other production machinery. Daily responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and documenting all work to support safe and efficient operations. The role involves using hand and power tools, reading technical drawings or manuals, aligning and balancing equipment, and collaborating with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime. The Millwright will follow all safety policies, participate in continuous improvement activities, and support a culture of reliability, teamwork, and integrity.QualificationsStrong mechanical skills in Maintenance & Repair of industrial machinery, including installation, alignment, and rebuilding of equipment.Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, including inspection, lubrication, and scheduled servicing to reduce downtime.Ability to perform Troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues.Proficient in safe use of Power Tools (e.g., grinders, drills, impact wrenches) and Hand Tools (e.g., wrenches, hammers, measuring instruments) for millwright tasks.Knowledge of industrial safety practices and willingness to follow all safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics; basic computer skills for maintenance documentation are helpful.Prior experience as a millwright, maintenance technician, or in a heavy industrial or lumber manufacturing environment is preferred.High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, millwright work, or a related field is beneficial.Capacity to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods, lifting moderate weights, and working in varying temperatures.Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with a commitment to continuous improvement and safe work practices.
