Principal Associate, Project Manager - Emerging Payments MarketingThe Capital One Emerging Payments Product Marketing team is seeking an energetic, creative, and results-driven individual to serve as a hybrid Project and Program Manager for the team. This role is the "connective tissue" of the team, responsible for driving high-priority initiatives while maintaining a holistic view of the entire digital tools marketing program to ensure work is delivered on strategy, on time, and at the highest quality.The successful candidate will lead "Tier 1" projects (e.g. paid and owned awareness campaigns), while simultaneously managing the overarching program rhythm, resource coordination, and operational health of the team. You will work with numerous partners such as marketing strategists, creative agencies, and internal operation lane partners to manage strategic, integrated, multi-dimensional marketing projects.What You'll DoAutonomously lead and drive integrated marketing projects through discovery and delivery involving Project Planning (documenting objectives, success measures, scope and customer expectations), Governance Planning and Management (roles, responsibilities, interactions, communication) and Project Execution (project schedules, and decisions, risk and issue logs)Be comfortable managing many concurrent projects with shifting deadlines/priorities simultaneouslyMonitor and manage critical path, decisions, risks, plan contingencies, facilitate scope changes, identify gaps, and build mitigation plans to achieve desired outcomesConduct project meetings and own project documentation and trackingAct as liaison between strategy leads, creative teams, business partners, channel workstream leads, and cross-functional team membersAdhere to department/audit policies, procedures and expectations while managing scope, schedule, resources and budget to deliver high quality resultsCommunicate effectively with associates at all levels, to share status, manage expectations, drive for results and provide transparency around the Brand workstream deliverablesWork with program manager to identify and solve opportunities to improve and streamline project management practices in the organizationWho You AreYour curiosity is endless. While fun isn't mandatory, it certainly seems to follow you.You care—about the work, your team and the customers you serve.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree or Military experienceAt least 4 Years of Project Management experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience with project management software or toolsExperience managing brand/marketing projects, either agency or client-sideProficiency in Google SuiteAbility to self-manage and elevate potential roadblocks with confidenceStrong analytical and problem solving skillsExperience in resource and task management with the ability to explore solution-oriented approaches based on project-specific needsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900 for Principal Project ManagerRichmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Project ManagerCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
