Substitute Teachers WantedPosition Summary:Substitute teachers support classroom instruction when the regular teacher is absent, following provided lesson plans and ensuring continuity and professionalism in the learning environment.Position Types:• Daily Substitute Teachers: Flexibility to choose schedules and locations; at least 60 hours per school year required.• Long-Term Substitutes: Full responsibility for classroom instruction during extended teacher absences.Qualifications & Requirements:• Minimum age of 18 years.• At least 60 semester hours of college credit OR equivalent (or a bachelor's degree for daily substitutes).• Two reference letters (one from a recent employer or cooperating teacher).•Complete an orientation classPay Rates:• Daily subs (≥ 60 college credits): $15/hr;• Higher rates: Interim Substitute Teacher with Bachelor's degree ($32.31) and ($19.63/hr) apply to assignments in Emotionally & Behaviorally Disabled (EBD), Intellectually Disabled (IND), and disciplinary centers.Next Steps:• Interested applicants must complete an interest form or call 954‐344‐4993.
