Remote Operations Engineer
As a full-time Remote Operations Engineer, the successful candidate will provide human oversight and domain expertise to AI agents, addressing operational challenges in industrial environments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Utilize AI-powered dashboards to continuously monitor production performance and critical operating metrics
Review AI-generated alarms and process deviations, prioritizing anomalies to ensure operational continuity
Act as a liaison between AI insights and on-site personnel, guiding workflows and supporting operators in real-time
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or a related technical field
4-8 years of experience in operating, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial manufacturing processes
Hands-on experience with industrial systems including DCS, SCADA, and Industrial Automation
Proven ability to analyze complex data sets to improve manufacturing efficiency and yield
Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills for leading technical discussions
