Global Communications Manager

POSITION SUMMARYLifeWave is seeking a highly accountable, execution-driven Global Communications Manager to own the structure, governance, and enablement of global communications across the organization and field. This is not a role that executes day-to-day field communications. Instead, this role ensures that regional teams are equipped, aligned, and enabled to execute communications effectively and in advance of key initiatives.You will act as the global control point for communication standards, messaging, and delivery frameworks, while directly owning internal global communications and CEO-level messaging. In parallel, this role owns global PR and influencer/athlete programs, ensuring they are strategically managed, globally aligned, and delivering measurable impact.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has supervisory responsibilities.Title(s):Global Communications SpecialistESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGlobal Communications Ownership & Execution Own and deliver internal global communications (corporate updates, leadership messaging, organizational updates)Write and distribute CEO-level global communications to the field and internal audiencesDo not execute regional or market-specific field communications — ensure these are delivered by regional teamsDefine and enforce clear boundaries between Global and Regional communications responsibilitiesEnsure all global messaging is clear, prioritized, and aligned before reaching regions for executionCommunication Strategy & Channel Management Develop and implement a global communications framework (channels, cadence, hierarchy, ownership)Establish SOPs, governance models, and approval processes for all communicationsDefine what is Global vs Regional, ensuring no duplication, confusion, or overlap (RASCI)Build templates, playbooks, and toolkits for regional executionDrive a ‘one global standard’ approach to communication quality and structureMessage Translation & Distribution Translate global campaigns, product launches, and initiatives into clear, structured communication toolkitsEnsure consistency in tone, voice, and clarity across all messagingContent Streams & Cadence Manage recurring communications such as weekly updates and newsletters for regional executionSupport a structured cadence that reduces noise and improves clarityPR Strategy & Management (Global & Regional) Own and manage global PR strategy and agency relationshipsEvaluate, appoint, and manage PR agencies globally and regionally, ensuring performance and ROIBuild and execute a global awards and recognition strategyEnsure PR is aligned to brand positioning and commercial priorities, not just awarenessHold agencies accountable through clear KPI’s and reporting structuresInfluencer/Athlete Program Management Own the global influencer and athlete strategy and frameworkDevelop scalable program structures, governance, and selection criteriaPartner with regional teams to ensure local execution within a global frameworkEnsure all activity is compliant, on-brand, and commercially alignedTrack and report on program effectiveness and ROI globally and regionallyPodcast & Content Ecosystem Development Support the evolution of the LifeWave podcast into a more strategic channelManage content calendar and work with Marketing Operations to manage production/guest interactions and contractsHelp build landing pages and content hubs to support podcast contentIntegrate podcast content into broader communication streamsTrack engagement and support performance reportingGlobal Alignment Partner with regional teams to ensure communications are aligned and locally executableProvide templates and frameworks to support consistencyCompliance & Governance Ensure communications meet brand and compliance standardsSupport message accuracy and consistencyPerformance & Optimization Produce monthly global reports covering: Communications effectiveness (global + regional performance insights)PR performance and ROIInfluencer/Athlete program performanceContinuously improve messaging and cadence based on insightsOtherCollaborate with global colleagues across multiple time zones, making reasonable accommodations for meetings that may occasionally take place during evening hours to support effective communication and teamwork.Completes all company training and follows established policies and procedures.Performs all other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications or related field.5-6+ years of experience in communications, content, or marketingExperience in managing multi-channel communicationsProven experience in building and governing global communication frameworksExperience managing PR agencies and influencer programs with measurable outcomesStrong ability to simplify complex informationExperience with content ecosystems (email, content hubs, etc.)Highly organized and detail-orientedComfortable executing and managing day-to-day communicationsFluent English essentialComfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.What Success Looks Like Communications are clear, consistent, and easy to understand Messaging is streamlined and well-organized Campaigns are effectively communicated and adopted Communication channels show improved engagement Work Environment & Physical DemandsTravel requirement: Less than 20% of travel required (domestic and international). A valid passport is required.LifeWave will operate as an in-office organization, and all employees are required to work onsite in alignment with corporate policy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at a computer workstation and be mobile within the office.
