Plastics Extrusion Production Line Operator

General Position Scope: This position is responsible for operating bag machines and associated manufacturing equipment to safely produce high-quality bags, assist with line utilities, set-up lines with materials needed per instructions, operating procedures, and quality specifications, etc. Position will include competitive salary, bonus opportunities, full benefits package, and 401k. Job Responsibilities: Understand and follow all safety procedures/policies Read and verify line orders/dockets (BOMs) Understand job requirements by the specifications listed on the product BOMs Perform quality checks of material being produced every 30 minutes and complete related documentation Prepare packaging materials for upcoming jobs Complete daily production paperwork Assist with product change over Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow the chain of command to communicate all concerns (safety, quality, production and HR issues) immediately and effectively. Participate in department activities to continually improve safety, product quality, cost, and delivery. Submit ideas for continuous improvement for safety, product quality, work area improvements, cost, and delivery.
