Material Handler

*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and shipment of materials within the facility. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will ensure smooth operations, accurate order fulfillment, and safe handling of heavy equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where teamwork, safety, and precision are paramount. _Schedule_: Full-time, day shift *Duties* _Material Movement_ * Transport raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods between warehouse and production areas. * Stage materials for production lines according to work orders and schedules. * Return unused materials to proper storage locations _Inventory Control_ * Scan and transact inventory movements in the ERP system (ex: NetSuite) * Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory * Verify material lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates _Receiving & Put-Away_ * Assist receiving team with unloading trucks and verifying shipments * Label and store materials in designated warehouse locations * Ensure FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation _Production Support_ * Supply materials to production lines to prevent downtime * Remove finished goods and transfer to warehouse staging * Maintain clean and organized staging areas _Safety & Compliance_ * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely * Follow GMP, safety, and warehouse procedures * Maintain cleanliness and organization according to facility standards *Qualifications* _Education & Experience_ * High school diploma or equivalent * 1-3 years warehouse or manufacturing experience _preferred_ * Experience in regulated manufacturing (food, supplements, pharmaceuticals) is a plus *Skills* * Forklift certification _preferred_ * Bilingual _required_ * Basic computer skills and ERP/WMS familiarity * Strong attention to detail * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs * Strong organization and communication skills *Work Environmnet* * Manufacturing and warehouse environment * Exposure to moving equipment and production machinery * Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift *Key Performance Metrics* * Inventory accuracy * On-time material delivery to production * Picking accuracy * Warehouse organization and safety compliance Covid-19 Considerations: We abide by all city, county and state regulations and mandates This is a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
