Benefits: Travel Pay PackageKey Responsibilities:Manage complex cardiac patients including STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-cardiac surgery (CTS) cases.Titrate and monitor cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry monitoring for progressive care patients.Perform comprehensive assessments and intervene promptly based on changing patient conditions.Float to all PCU/IMCU floors as needed; may also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including cardiologists, intensivists, and rapid response.Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR.Provide patient and family education on cardiac conditions, medications, and discharge planning.Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Must have skills: - Registered Nurse, RN, Progressive Care, PCU, IMCU, BLS, ACLS, Cardiac Drips, EPICActive RN License (GA or Compact State)AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications (required)Minimum 2 years of recent experience in PCU, IMCU, or similar progressive care settingExperience in a similar sized facility (large academic/urban hospital)Strong proficiency with EPIC EMR systemExperience managing cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors)Ability to work day shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per weekMinimal requested time off (RTO)Both local and travel candidates considered (no radius restriction)Must upload all demographic information including a badge-appropriate photoExcellent cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry skillsStrong critical thinking and rapid intervention in decompensating patientsProficiency with vasoactive and inotropic drip titrationAdaptability to float across multiple PCU/IMCU unitsStrong communication and teamwork in high-acuity settingsCompassionate, patient-first mindsetConsistent day shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per weekOpportunity to work in a float pool across diverse cardiac PCU/IMCU unitsManage complex cardiac patients including STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-op cardiac surgeryLearn and grow in a large, respected academic medical centerPrime Atlanta, GA location – vibrant city with world-class dining, culture, and attractionsOur client is a leading Consulting Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
